Adding machines without killing suction
A new machine needs its own branch and a gate that stays shut when that tool is off. Open every gate and the collector cannot keep up.
The reason suction drops
The collector did not get smaller. You gave the air more places to go.
- New tool, new branch: do not tee into a neighbor drop and hope.
- New branch, new gate: unused branches stay closed.
- No fantasy mode: most home collectors are not meant to run every machine at once.
If you already forget gates, adding a third machine makes the cheat worse. That is when automation earns its keep.
How GRIT fits
Two tools first, then expand later.
The starter system is a modular BOM, not a pack. More tools means more Gate Controls and Triggers through the builder.
